"The Shape of The Sky" is the second album from River Nelson, following 2009's critically acclaimed debut "The Rise and Fall".

Esteemed producer Lewis Parker, known for his work with Ghostface and John Robinson, once more returns behind the boards, providing River with that golden sound over which to spin his intelligent and thoughtful tales.

The duo have crafted an LP which harks back to the golden age of hip-hop, further fused with an innate respect for their soul, jazz and blues forbears. The record marks one of those times where emcee and producer combine perfectly to make truly timeless hip-hop.
